Chelsea eyeing Onana according to reports but Inter will demand at least €40 million
Andre Onana (27), the Cameroonian goalkeeper, who is in his first season at Inter Milan, is reportedly on Chelsea's recruitment agenda for next season.
Chelsea have had their eyes on Onana since he joined Ajax, according to Italy's Gazzetta dello Sport, and the Blues now want to move into negotiations with Inter, whom he has a contract with until 2027.
The Italian club, however, view the Cameroon international as one of the team's key figures, which is why Inter are unwilling to sell him for less than €40million.
Chelsea may, as per the same report, try to play with Onana's apparent desire to play in the Premier League. Aware the goalkeeper's desire may lead to a relaxation of the demands from Inter, who may need to sell players to ease financial problems.
The goalkeeper, it should be remembered, arrived in Milan at no cost after eight years at Ajax.
