23:49 CET - Some final scores of the day to wrap up Friday's tennis action. John Isner (37) is through in Dallas with a straight-set win over Emilio Gomez (31), whilst another American, Maxime Cressy (25) was successful in Montpellier, winning 7-6, 6-4 against Borna Coric (26).

21:48 CET - More results coming in on this Friday evening as Maria Sakkari (27) has advanced into the final four in Linz with a 6-3, 7-6 win against Donna Vekic (26). 

On the ATP Tour, Holger Rune (19) needed two tie breaks to beat Gregoire Barrere (28) in Montpellier and over in Dallas there was a big surprise with JJ Wolf (24) overcoming one of the favourites for the week, Frances Tiafoe (25) after being a set down.

19:57 CET - Liudmila Samsonova (24) has prevailed in Abu Dhabi with a two-set win over Veronika Kudermetova (25). Russian Samsonova won both sets 6-3 and will now face Qinwen Zheng (20) on Saturday in the semi-finals.

18:51 CET - Plenty of results to catch you up on across the tennis world and we start in Abu Dhabi, where three of the four semi-finalists have been decided. Belinda Bencic (25), Qinwen Zheng (29) and Brazilian Beatriz Haddad Maia (26) all made it through with the last quarter currently being played.

Two quarter-finals have been completed in Linz too as Marketa Vondrousova (23) had an easy time of it with her opponent Dalma Galfi (24) retiring hurt in the first set. In the other game that has finished in Austria, Anastasia Potapova (21) won in three sets to progress to the weekend.

In Montpellier on the ATP Tour, 17th seed Jannik Sinner (21) beat compatriot Lorenzo Sonego (27) in straight sets, whilst teenager Arthur Fils (18) continued his great run with a straight-set victory over Quentin Halys (26).
