20:53 CET - Over in Abu Dhabi, Liudmila Samsonova (24) needed three sets to book her spot in the final with a 4-6, 6-1, 6-4 win over Qinwen Zheng (20). She will now face Belinda Bencic on Sunday where they will battle for the title.
20:49 CET - A bit of a shock has taken place in Montpellier with Holger Rune (19) losing in three sets to Maxime Cressy (25) of the USA. It was a close match, with very little between the two players. After winning the first set 7-5, Cressy lost a second set tie-break before he took revenge in the third set, winning the decider 7-6. He will face Jannik Sinner (21) in Sunday's showpiece event. Hear from Sinner now on his earlier victory.
18:19 CET - Greek Maria Sakkari (27) has been knocked out of yet another semi-final as she couldn't get past Petra Matric (32) who will be facing Potapova in the Linz Open final.
Meanwhile, in Cordoba Federico Coria (30) awaits to see who will challenge him for the title as the Argentine defeated Albert Ramos-Vinolas (35) to book his place in the final. His opponent will either be Hugo Dellien or Sebastian Baez.
17:14 CET - Belinda Bencic brushed off Maia Beatriz Haddad 6-2, 6-3 to reach the Abu Dhabi Open's final. She is set to face the winner between Qinwen Zheng and Liudmila Samsonova.
