The football weekend is varied and full of interesting moments. Flashscore News collects the best, worst, most interesting and strangest for you in a weekly column. Today we go through the hardships of Zlin and Ajax, Inter's solid defence and Jose Mourinho's controversial remarks.

Goal of the weekend

We'll leave the dilemma of the best goal to the readers this time. The weekend brought two goals from the middle of the park. Florent Muslia flashed one in Paderborn's draw with St. Pauli in the 2. Bundesliga and Metz's Lamine Camara the other, but his goal was only a consolation during the loss to Monaco.

Underperformers of the weekend

To score five goals in a game and still lose? That just doesn't happen. Especially when you lose by a four-goal gap... This horror event was "successful" for the Zlin players, who lost 5:9 to Mlada Boleslava. They were still 3:1 up in the 46th minute, but Boleslav scored eight times in the second half. The Czech league has never seen a match with fourteen goals...

Jose Mourinho is never afraid to hit back. When Monza player Alejandro "Papu" Gómez leaned into Jose before Roma's clash with Monza, saying he only remembered him for beating him in the Europa League final, the possibility of an apt reply landed in Mourinho's lap.

"I have a cough, but I prefer not to take syrup or pills. I might have a problem passing a doping control anyway," he joked. It is Gomez who is now banned for doping. He denied his deliberate use, saying it was just from cough syrup.

Statistics of the weekend

San Siro, or rather Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, is a shrine. However, one of his teams, Inter, is paradoxically stronger away this year. Simone Inzaghi's men have won their last five games and kept a clean sheet in all of them. This has only happened once in their history and that was a very long time ago, in 1966. Experienced goalkeeper Yann Sommer thus makes you forget about Andre Onana, who, on the contrary, is struggling at Manchester United.

The story of the weekend

Barcelona seem to be able to pull a young talent out of their sleeve in any situation, who suddenly starts to shine and decide matches. The name Lamine Yamal has been bandied about since the start of the season, with the 16-year-old skilful youngster even already a member of the Spanish national team squad. This time, someone else has shone.

17-year-old striker Marc Guiu jumped into his first ever game among the professionals, and after thirty seconds he scored his debut goal and the decisive one against Bilbao. His dream debut was watched by his parents, who couldn't fight back tears.

The coaching seat at Ajax Amsterdam is supposed to be a target for ambitious coaches who want to fight for the title and glory in the Champions League. This season, however, everything has been turned upside down. The Dutch giant has a run of four losses in a row and is second to last!

The mood in the much-changed squad is miserable, as evidenced by the photo of coach Maurice Steijn after the loss to Utrecht. One of his last photos in this capacity... He was sacked by the club on Monday.
